Smokey and a rabbit friend were surrendered to us at ADHS through no fault of their own when their family could no longer care for them.
Smokey is a super soft, sweet and gentle guy. He’s calm and friendly and loves to be petted. Smokey is a good eater (hay, fresh greens, pellets) and he’s pretty tidy in the litter box department.
As a 5-year old ‘senior’, Smokey still has lots of love to give. His special needs are dental in nature: his misaligned teeth need to be filed and ground down every 3 months in order to keep him comfortable and to avoid abrasions/sores in his mouth.
Smokey is awaiting that special person or family who will love him unconditionally and stay on top of his dental needs with a rabbit-savvy veterinarian.
