Robbie (A135057) is a 1-year-old intact male rabbit who weighed just over 5 pounds on intake! 07/04/24 This big handsome rabbit is Robbie! Robbie arrived at the shelter as a stray and not in good health. He was seen by the shelter vet and started on an appropriate treatment plan. Robbie loves his liquid antibiotic and has been a great patient! He should still be kept separate from other small animals until he has finished his antibiotic regiment, and his next owner should monitor him for recurrent upper respiratory symptoms. If you are unfamiliar with rabbit care we highly encourage you to do the research prior to adopting. He should have unlimited access to timothy hay for his teeth and gi health, a measured amount of pellet food daily, as well as fresh greens. Rabbits should also be provided with safe enrichment in their enclosures there are a lot of fun enrichment diy ideas online or you can purchase rabbit approved chews! Robbie is definitely food motivated and will hop over for the right treat. He is not overly comfortable being picked up so please keep that in mind.
