My Story

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Approximately 3 year old neutered male English Lop. Handsome, playful, opinionated big boy! Owner must have previous rabbit experience. Peter has been used to strictly indoor living. He needs plenty of space, so at least part time free roam. He would be okay to have a smaller room or ex-pen as home base. Good with his litter box - he is used to pine pellets from Tractor Supply and hang his hay above the box. Very food motivated. Likes Oxbow treats. Not a big fan of mustard greens. Loves cilantro and parsley. Major water flipper - must use a large ceramic dog bowl and he does fine with that. He also liked to use the cats' fountains when he was able to free roam. Does well with cats. Unsure how he would do with other rabbits or dogs. Not very affectionate, has never been a snuggler, but very eager to take treats and will let you pet him. Has bitten a couple of times - once he was in play mode so think he got overexcited; a couple times when using a broom to clean up his pen, he does feel territorial. I think if he had more space this wouldn't be as much of a problem. Estimated DOB: 05/22/2021 Adoption fee: $ 45 (6% KY sales tax included) We would love to hear from you!
