Oats and another rabbit were found cruelly abandoned in a cardboard box in a subdivision under construction the night before a 30 cm snowfall. They were very fortunate that a Good Samaritan who spotted the box opened it, took them home and called us at ADHS. These two rabbits were so hungry that they had started to eat the box itself.
Neutered, vaccinated and close to 2 years old, Oats is currently located in a rabbit-savvy foster home but he’s ready for his forever home! His idea of a forever home is a home giving him the love and security he needs in order to know that he’ll never be abandoned again.
