Kinsey *In Foster Care*

Kinsey is a very sweet, happy, active spayed female rabbit. She is estimated to be approximately 3.5 to 4 years of age (as of May 2023). A gorgeous cinnamon color, Kinsey's velvety-plush Mini-Rex fur is a soft as it is beautiful. A friendly, silly girl, Kinsey would be a good candidate for a home with gentle children who are respectful of her boundaries. She enjoys coming to her human caretakers and getting pets and snuggles, but, like the vast majority of rabbits (and other prey animals), Kinsey does not like to be picked up, carried, or held for an extended period of time. She loves to explore her surroundings, but will always return to her people if they follow her lead :) We have tried Kinsey twice in Bunny Speed Dating sessions, and each time she has not been a big fan of other rabbits. This is not to say she could not find a rabbit with whom there was bonding potential, but only by actually trying her with the bun would we know for sure. You will be coming to our Animal Care and Education Center, located at 2801 Pulaski Highway in Edgewood, MD. We will schedule a meet & greet appointment and require face coverings for every one involved, as well as follow all social physical distancing guidelines. Our adoption fee for a single rabbit is $75. This is a donation meant to help us cover part of the cost of caring for the animal you are adopting while (s)he is with us, including veterinary exam, spay or neuter surgery, food, bedding, etc.
