Jenson came in with his brother, Dean, and boy - have these kids given us some zest on our shelter floor! From zooming around their condos to binkying all over the exercise floor - these brothers are goofs! While they are available for adoption separately & they've been living apart since being with us, we do believe they may enjoy having a bondmate! Once they get over that initial wave of pure excitement, it's possible they'll settle into having a buddy. Jenson very dramatically lounges on the top platform is his condo, hanging over the edge. Sometimes if he falls too deep into sleep - he'll start sliding off before being jolted awake fast enough to land on all 4 paws. He's unfortunately lost his hay rack privileges at the shelter because he thought pulling all the hay out of it to create a comfy nest was why we kept filling it up for him. And though he's a great hay eater - he definitely gets himself into trouble if he's not thoroughly entertained! For Jenson, running around and putting on binky shows gives him just enough enrichment to knock him out for an hour or so. Then he's back up to do it all over again! He's a pro investigator and makes sure that every toy you give him is thoroughly inspected and played with. He will be the first to say hello to you in the morning, the first to greet you when you come home, and the first at the bowl for feeding time. He will greet you with the same pure excitement each and every time, as if he hasn't seen you in weeks (and maybe you were only really gone for an hour).
