Hootay is an extremely social guy who would do well in a home where he can be loved on by his people. His foster mom has taken him to a number of all ages events and he eagerly approaches anyone who looks his way. Hootay will need a family that is willing to accommodate his somewhat selective palate and watch out for signs that he may need additional dental care. He is missing teeth due to dental issues and this makes chewing difficult for him. He receives pumpkin daily to help him to maintain a healthy weight, and eats extruded pellets that are gentle for him to munch. Hootay is very playful and energetic with great litter box habits.
