Meet Him and Her!
Recently, Him and Her were brought to our rescue. Him is a 3.5-year-old Dutch bunny who originally came from another shelter, and Her is a 5-year-old English Lop/Rex mix from a breeder. They are bonded.
Both are fixed and litter trained. They came to us due to a series of unfortunate circumstances, which we won't detail to protect their previous owner’s privacy.
Him and Her are currently being treated for ear mites, which is an easy fix. They'll be fully vetted and chipped here, then ready for their forever family!
Her is sometimes referred to as a "Velveteen Rabbit," a mix between a Rex and an English Lop.
Initially, their owner was desperate to find them a safe place, posting all over the Nextdoor app before reaching out to us. She received numerous odd offers to adopt them, strictly because of Hers breed.
We adore this duo and, though we can't share their full story, we know they'd thrive in nearly any home environment.
They may not get a ton of attention without the full backstory, but they deserve a loving home just as much as any other buns.
