This dapper American Sable mix bun is Harvey, one heck of a good guy who is estimated to be 2-2.5 years old (as of January 2024). Harvey is a very outgoing, super social chap who is as charismatic as he is handsome!
Harvey came to us from BARCS, where he had ended up after being found as a stray rabbit on the streets of Baltimore. We don’t know how Harvey is still so loving and extroverted, but he’s clearly left his past behind and is ready to start the new, best chapter of his life.
Harvey is neutered, vaccinated against RHDV2 (as are all rabbits in LH care), and ready-set to go to his new home & family…though we will all miss him!
We have learned that Harvey is an attention-nipper...he uses his teeth to communicate wanting more pets. We are trying to break him of this, but it is a gradual process. For this reason, we believe Harvey would do best in a home with only adults or possibly with older gentle children who won't be frightened by his mouthiness.
