My Story
Must adopt with bond mate, Gritty
Hi everyone, I am Groot (where are my Guardians of the Galaxy fans?)! I'm a Netherland dwarf rabbit who's ready to charm my way into your heart alongside my brother named Gritty. We're the best of buds, so we must be adopted together.
I'm known for being one of the most laid-back and sweetest bunnies you'll ever come across. It might take me a moment to warm up to new humans, that is, unless you have my favorite foods. Speaking of which, cilantro tops my list, but I'm also crazy about oats, bananas, spring mix, and lettuce. Surprisingly, carrots aren't quite my thing - strange, right?
When I get the chance to stretch my legs outside my pen, it's binkies galore! Those joyful hops are my absolute favorite - they make me feel like I'm flying. Sometimes my brother Gritty and I even try to out-binky each other. With a watchful eye, we love tearing around together, especially in the grass. Now, I'll admit, Gritty and I are still working on our litter box etiquette. But hey, we're improving every day, and with a home of our own, we're sure to master it in no time.
Back at our foster home we've had the pleasure of hanging out with kids and we handle it pretty well, as long as trusted adults ensure our space is respected. We've even had some encounters with dogs and they don't seem to be a big deal for us.
Once you meet me and Gritty, you'll be totally smitten. We promise to bring loads of bunny love and binkies to brighten your days!

RRMN bunnies are all vetted, spayed/neutered, and microchipped. All bunnies are fostered in private homes where they are socialized and ready to become indoor companion house pets. RRMN is a non-profit rescue group operated 100% by volunteers, and 100% of donations/adoption fees go to the direct care of our animals. Due to their very special behavioral needs, we do not advocate for our rescue rabbits to serve as Emotional Support Animals (ESAs). We are unable to provide any documentation or certification for an ESA.
If you have any questions or are interested in meeting or adopting this bunny, the first step is to complete an adoption application found on our website: http://www.rabbitrescueofmn.com. For the safety of our rescue bunnies, our protocol requires a home-visit before placement. Therefore, we are unable to facilitate adoptions that exceed an hour and a half of travel time from the Twin Cities area.
