My Story

Diet: Pellets: 1/8 cup Adult Oxbow Essentials (AM) Hay: Unlimited mixed hay (All day) Salad: 1x a day 1 cup spring mix, romaine lettuce, cilantro, parsley Meet Goose, the resilient bunny with a big heart! Relinquished by her owner in May of 2023, Goose has faced some tough times. Kept in a small space and overfed for most of her life, she's had her share of challenges. As a result, Goose can be defensive and uses her teeth to communicate her feelings. However, with patience and understanding, she's opening up to us. Goose thrives on enrichment activities and she really enjoys getting pets! Despite her past, Goose is eager to embrace a brighter future in a loving forever home. With time and care, her true personality will shine, revealing a sweet and loving companion. Spayed: 3/22/24 Rabbit Hemorrhagic Disease Virus (RHDV) is a highly contagious and deadly disease caused by a calicivirus that affects both wild and domestic rabbits. It is not contagious to people or other animals. For the first time, the virus is causing deaths in rabbits and hares native to North America and is spreading rapidly. UPDATE: In May 2021, California Department of Food and Agriculture (CDFA) has confirmed new cases of RHDV in rabbits in Kern, Los Angeles, Orange, Riverside, San Bernardino, San Diego and Ventura County. In addition to detection of RHDV2 in wild cottontail rabbits and jackrabbits, RHDV2 has been confirmed in domestic rabbits on 50 premises, including a detection in a feral domestic rabbit.
