My Story

Meet Dutton! Dutton is a friendly, curious, medium-sized lionhead who unfortunately lost his home because his human moved out of country. Dutton is estimated to be three to four years old, and originally came to us from a local shelter as a stray (before his human had adopted him). According to his previous human, Dutton is smart and will do the odd trick. He’s used to being a free-roam rabbit and is extremely clean. Although we do not know if he’s good with other animals, he does love people and is a great house bunny! If you’re interested in welcoming this little man into your home please do your research and submit an adoption application. The adoption fee is $75 per rabbit ($150 for a pair). Please do your research and if you're interested in any of our rabbits, go to www.vrra.org to fill in our adoption application. We follow the House Rabbit Society adoption policies. For everything you need to know about caring for a bunny, visit the House Rabbit Society website at: www.rabbit.org. We strongly encourage all prospective bunny adopters to pick up a copy of “The House Rabbit Handbook: How to Live with an Urban Rabbit,” available from most online sellers (e.g., Amazon) as well at our shelter.
