My Story

Dahlia is a confident spayed female bunny, born Jan. 15, 2024. She would do fantastic as a free roam bunny as she has great litter box habits, and is super adventurous and unphased by most things. Slippery hardwood floor and tiles? No problem! Scary vacuum cleaner? Don't come too close and she does not care. Need to be put into the carrier and taken to the vet? Car rides are merely annoying but not terrifying. Time for a nail trim or cuddle session? Super easy to pick up and hold, may even relax into the cuddle if she feels like it. Dahlia loves attention and always wants to see what you're doing - if she can't see, she'll try to get up high so she can spy on you! Her favorite perch in the foster home is on top of the sofa backrest, so she can watch over everyone and everything. If you plan on keeping her in an exercise pen for the night, make sure you cover the top with a bedsheet because she can jump and climb over 3ft! Dahlia really loves all things edible - from hay, greens, pellets, to even water. She drinks a lot of water, and would love for her new home to continue using a pet water fountain. She loves chasing down pellets in dog puzzles and wobble toys, and snuffle mats are also really engaging. On hot days, she enjoys chilling in front of the fan on top of a piece of cool tile. As Dahlia is a very confident individual, she may learn to get along with a household that has a calm dog or cat, after an appropriate amount of introduction and desensitization. dob 1-15-24
