My Story
Hi there! I'm Cocoa, and despite my petite size, I've got a personality as large as life itself! You'll often find me hopping around, exploring every nook and cranny of my surroundings. I'm a curious little bunny with a knack for socializing. Head pets? Count me in, just make sure all four of my paws are firmly on the ground, please!
I'm a master of the litter box, so you can rest easy knowing I won't leave any surprises around the house. But I do have a weakness for chewing, so a bunny-proofed space with plenty of chew toys is a must. My favorites are untreated apple branches and Oxbow toys - they're the best!
Now, let's talk about food. I'm a proud member of the clean plate club - cilantro, romaine, baby bok choy - you name it, I'll munch on it! And don't even get me started on treats like berries, apples, and bananas. I practically dive into my bowl at mealtime, sometimes before it even touches the ground.
Living with medium-sized dogs is no biggie for me, as long as they keep their cool. Loud barking and excitement can startle me, but I bounce back quickly once things settle down. Cats? Haven't met them, so I can't say for sure. When it comes to other bunnies, foster mom thinks I may do well with a bond mate, as I've had a lot of fun interacting with other buns at romp & spas. As for kids, I've met a few older ones, and while I'm a tad shy at first, a tasty treat usually brings me out of my shell. With a little time, I may get along with older, respectful children.
I'm ready to hop into my forever home, could that be yours?

RRMN bunnies are all vetted, spayed/neutered, and microchipped. All bunnies are fostered in private homes where they are socialized and ready to become indoor companion house pets. RRMN is a non-profit rescue group operated 100% by volunteers, and 100% of donations/adoption fees go to the direct care of our animals. Due to their very special behavioral needs, we do not advocate for our rescue rabbits to serve as Emotional Support Animals (ESAs). We are unable to provide any documentation or certification for an ESA.
If you have any questions or are interested in meeting or adopting this bunny, the first step is to complete an adoption application found on our website: http://www.rabbitrescueofmn.com. For the safety of our rescue bunnies, our protocol requires a home-visit before placement. Therefore, we are unable to facilitate adoptions that exceed an hour and a half of travel time from the Twin Cities area.
