Cinnamon

Cinnamon is a nearly 4 year old neutered boy who is looking for a patient and caring family who can support his special needs. His birthday is Feb. 14, 2020. He is a big eater and loves his veggies (Bok Choy, Kale, Red leaf lettuce, cilantro) and Timothy hay. Cinnamon has arthritis in his knees, therefore he has trouble using his back legs and lacks bladder control. He needs a low entry litter box, his foster will provide one when adopted, but we recommend purchasing a couple more to further encourage urination in the boxes. His pen is lined with disposable potty pads to keep him from sitting in any urine. Cinnamon has trouble grooming and needs assistance. He will occasionally need a butt bath to help prevent urine scald. He does not need his full body bathed, only his rear end. He doesn’t enjoy them but he cooperates for his baths. His foster uses Zymox Enzymatic Shampoo and rinses with warm water. The area is gently combed to remove any matts and towel dried. After that, Neo-Predef Topical Powder is applied to any bare spots to soothe the skin and A&D Ointment (zinc free) is applied on top of that. He is on a long term pain medication (Meloxicam) and will need to see a veterinarian occasionally to get that refilled. He is very good at taking his meds. Cinnamon is a very sweet rabbit with lots of love to give. He loves blueberries, cucumbers, bananas and grapes and knows when it’s treat time. He runs as fast as his body allows to get them. He would potentially do well with a female partner.
