Bagel joined Everybunny Counts after being rescued from an unpleasant situation outside of a bagel shop (sometimes we're creative with names. Other times, we are not). Much like bagels at breakfast, our little Bagel is simply the best! This super curious, sweet, funny little guy always wants to know what's going on. He has never met someone he didn't immediately consider a friend. Any time one of our volunteers goes by his pen, he will stretch up the side as far as his little legs will allow to ask for pets and love. His litter box habits are improving since his neuter, but may require some work. Start your day off right and apply to adopt Bagel today! **OF NOTE** We do not, nor have we ever, reserved rabbits. Expressing interest and/or filling out an adoption application is not a guarantee that your application will be approved, nor that you will be matched with the specific rabbit in whom you expressed interest. We do our best to match the correct bunny to the right adoptive home so that they will indeed be a forever home. As a Dwarf rabbit, Bagel will require a minimum of 2 vet visits each year to get checkups on his ears. Families considering adding Bagel to their number should be aware that chronic ear infections are common in Dwarf rabbits and may require regular administration of antibiotics. Our adoption fee is $150. This fee covers the cost of general and veterinary care and spay/neuter procedures with a rabbit-trained exotics veterinarian. We adopt to Connecticut residents, and on a case by case basis, Massachusetts and New York residents. All rabbits are spayed/neutered prior to adoption.
