My Story
Must adopt with bond mate, Ursula
Hi there, I'm Aerial, the quieter half of the dynamic duo "Ursula and Aerial." Ursula is my sister, so we must be adopted together. I'm always just a step behind her, observing before I join in on the action. When you pick me up, all four of my paws go straight down, which everyone says is adorable, but truth be told, I'm much more comfortable with my paws on the ground. I've got these big eyes with beautiful black eyelashes, kind of like a Disney Princess, or so I've been told.
Ursula and I have our moments of playfulness, and sometimes she chases me around, but we always make up in the end, usually with me giving in to what she wants. We're quite bonded, though I do lose some fur occasionally in our tussles. It's all part of sibling life, right?
Our soft hidey house is our sanctuary, perfect for cuddling together. The top of it is my favorite spot to flop down and relax. We're also quite the puzzle solvers with stacking cups, snuffle mats, and those rolling dispensers for pellets. If there are toys in our pen, we'll figure out how to make them dispense treats faster - Ursula claims it's mostly my doing, but I think she enjoys it too.
I can be a bit shy at first, preferring to hide until I get used to you. During run time, I usually follow Ursula's lead, trusting her to choose a safe path for us. Treats are best enjoyed in the pen rather than from your hand. I'm a sneaky eater, so who knows what I might fancy? Ursula sometimes tries to sneak a bite from me, but I'm happy to share.
I'm proud to say I have excellent litter box habits, and sometimes it's even my safe space where I hang out comfortably. As for routines, I'm flexible with pellets in the morning and greens in the afternoon. I don't really keep track of time like Ursula does, so I eat when she lets me and when you're not watching too closely.
After surviving outside with Ursula for a while, we've come to love our pampered indoor life. We seem to do okay with dogs, though I prefer to keep my distance, and we haven't been around cats. Other bunnies are fine as long as they give us our space, and older respectful kids are okay too as long as I can stay on solid ground.
Adopting me and Ursula together means bringing home double the love and double the joy. We may be small, but we're a package deal of mischief and boundless affection waiting to brighten your home.

RRMN bunnies are all vetted, spayed/neutered, and microchipped. All bunnies are fostered in private homes where they are socialized and ready to become indoor companion house pets. RRMN is a non-profit rescue group operated 100% by volunteers, and 100% of donations/adoption fees go to the direct care of our animals. Due to their very special behavioral needs, we do not advocate for our rescue rabbits to serve as Emotional Support Animals (ESAs). We are unable to provide any documentation or certification for an ESA.
If you have any questions or are interested in meeting or adopting this bunny, the first step is to complete an adoption application found on our website: http://www.rabbitrescueofmn.com. For the safety of our rescue bunnies, our protocol requires a home-visit before placement. Therefore, we are unable to facilitate adoptions that exceed an hour and a half of travel time from the Twin Cities area.
