My Story

Hello! My name is Valiente, and I was born in North Central Shelter in LA along with my six siblings. After being rescued by BWF and living in a foster home with my parents and siblings all together, I've grown into a healthy young boy with a blossoming personality, and I'm ready for my forever home! Here's some more info about me: The unique straight line on my back helps my foster parents identify me from my siblings. My name means 'brave' in Spanish. My foster parents named me Valiente because I was the first bunny to hop up to my foster parent, and the first to want to leave my playpen. As if that wasn't enough, I even charged at my foster parent when I wanted to go explore. I would wait for them not to be looking at me so I could plan my escape. I am very curious and don't worry about consequences, because I know my foster parent won't let me get hurt. I am always the first to explore new spaces or try new ways to get out of my cage. Once, I dug a hole in my blanket (that protected my foster parent's floors) and began a tunnel that inspired my entire family to make more holes themselves. I am not afraid to escape my cage (causing my foster parent to rebuild my space a few times), or going up and down stairs and using the doggie stairs to make my way on to my foster parent's couch. My favorite place to go (before my foster parent blocked it) was under the couch. Now, I've learned to use the doggie stairs to get to the coach and do my zoomies there. I am calm when my foster parent reaches into the playpen to give me pets and pick me up. I love going up to my foster mom for pets. I even stand on my back legs in the hope she will reach in for me or when I am curious to see what she is putting in my playpen next. My foster mom won't stop playing jazz, lofi hip-hop, and Kali U so I have gotten used to doing binkies when she plays these songs. I would I do best with a family who will allow me to explore and always keep an eye on me. I am working on coming when my foster mom calls my name. I am also doing pretty good on going in my litter box when I am out for a photo shoot or leg stretching. I get along with all my siblings and eat very well. My foster mom won't admit it, but I know I am her favorite because I am pretty affectionate and trust her. If you are interested in adopting me, Valiente, please inquire here on Petfinder or contact BWF at [email protected] and they'll happily send you their adoption package. Thank you! -Valiente
