Poundcake

Poundcake is currently our oldest adoptable bunny at the rescue. Poundcake was surrendered to us by a woman who was moving in just a few days and could not find anyone to take her senior rabbit. Poundcake is 8 years old but is as spry as a much younger bun. While we were initially concerned about how a "senior" might struggle in a new environment, this spry lady has decided Kind Heart Rescue is her new lease on life! Previously a "cage bunny", Poundcake now enjoys a spacious pen and supervised free roam time in her foster home. She thinks greens are the bees knees and loves to be hand fed. She's a great hay eater and her teeth are in excellent shape. Poundcake would be an excellent free roam bunny as she has excellent litter box habits and prefers to explore on floor level. She's not a high jumper and she doesn't go out of her way to find things to chew. She just wants to hop behind you and then, when she gets tired, she puts herself back in her pen for a nap. She's great with kids, but does not enjoy being picked up. Poundcake is also comfortable with small-animal friendly dogs and cats. She'd prefer not to have another bunny for a bondmate, however she is fine with other bunnies living in the house - she just doesn't want them in her pen. We'd love to find Poundcake a forever home for her golden years. $175 adoption fee includes Poundcake (spayed), a playpen, hay, pellets, bowls, litter and litter box. *Please note that Poundcake is not RHDV2 vaccinated
