Hello, I am Pickle, or as my foster humans like to call me, Mr. Pickle. I am extremely comfortable around people, especially around women.
I was dumped in a high-kill shelter with my bun-wife, Dill. Dill got pregnant while we were at the shelter and gave birth to 8 beautiful bunnies. Unfortunately, we lost three of the babies, and soon my little family was taken from me. I was in a different cage away from all of them, and I was not sure what happened shortly after when they were nowhere to be found in that stressful shelter full of loud noises and unpredictable changes. It was not long until I was adopted by BWF and delivered to the crazy hair lady and tall bearded man who had set up a space in their home for my welcoming. The crazy hair lady was very kind; she gave me hay, lettuce, and treats and reunited me with my family once more. Well, kind of because I was fixed and in a cage near my family. I was not scared to be here and felt so comfortable. Whenever I was allowed to free roam, I would sneak to my wife's cage to say hello and then explore this new environment that became a safe temporary home. I chinned everything imaginable just so the crazy hair lady knew whose house this really was.
I sneaked through every barrier she would put so I wouldn't reach my wife. I even sneaked upstairs a few times, an area she thought was off-premises. I loved climbing on her comfy chairs, coffee table, couch, and even her lap. I love exploring so much, but I know not to destroy our environment. I don't pee or poop on any furniture or scratch/bite her wooden coffee table, chairs, cushions, and table covers.
Storytime!
There was a time when the crazy hair lady and I wanted attention from the bearded man, so I kept nibbling his ankles and running away. He was not getting the memo and kept being on his phone. So, after a few nibbles and run games, I jumped on the couch with the crazy-haired lady and cuddled next to her. But the bearded man was still not giving us attention. He continued to charge and be on his phone. So what's a bun supposed to do??? I chewed the cable that was next to him without him noticing. I bounced back to the crazy-haired lady sitting on the couch and snuggled with her (so innocent). Finally!!! We both got attention shortly.
A few things I am obsessed with are cups, cardboard, paper, books, lettuce, blankets, and jumping. I am capable of being your personal paper shredder and destroying evidence from your online shopping addiction that you don't want your husband to know about. I am really good at going in my litter box, following hand gestures, and going back into my space. I would do best with a family with children 5+, no children, a couple, or a single individual ( I am open). I would also be a great companion for an addict to online shopping (cardboard boxes and paper stuffing), a person who doesn't eat their veggies but keeps buying them (now you can buy them guilt-free and I can eat them for you), or who loves to sit on the couch with a bun and his wife. I will be re-bonded with my wife as soon as she recovers from surgery.
