Patriot, a Dutch Satin mix, was abandoned in a tiny cage in a backyard when the tenants moved out. A concerned neighbor had been trying to keep him alive when he was left by his owners without food and water on many occasions, and once they moved and abandoned him the neighbor was able to bring him to our rescue. Now that Patriot is receiving lots of loving care from his foster home he is blossoming into a loving and inquisitive bunny who loves to explore all his big space. He is finally learning that people can be nice if they truly care. He loves eating, especially his daily salads. As with any new rescue is shy when meeting new people and prefers if you sit on the floor so that he can come over and check you out. Patriot is a black bunny with cute little white front paws and a tiny white patch on his chest. Patriot is TERRIFIED of dogs so he can only be adopted into a dog free home. He is neutered, socialized, vaccinated against the Rabbit Hemorrhagic Virus, and litter box trained. He is afraid of dogs. He is about nine months old and currently weighs 3.5 lbs. Given the chance he will be a loving and wonderful companion for your home.
