My Story

Meet Orca! This beautiful female lop is looking for her furever home. She would be happy as an only rabbit or possible meeting a Gentleman Bun. Orca has a drama-queen attitude! She needs a home without children. She likes head pets on her terms, and is not a fan of being held or picked up. If she doesn't like something, she'll stomp to let you know. In her current foster home, she's okay with other respectful companion animals (cats/dog). Orca is a foodie, so the way to her heart is through food, greens, and treats. Some of her favourite treats are Selective Loops and fresh herbs (cilantro, parsley, romaine). She spends her days relaxing in her pop-up tent or lounge, flopped, for her naps. She will binky and explore during her free roam time in her foster home. She loves hay and is a bit chewy. However, if she has cardboard boxes and chew toys available to her, she's a happy, good house bun. Ideally an adult, calm, free-roam home would be best for our sweet drama queen. If you're interested in Orca, please apply today. The adoption fee is $75 per rabbit ($150 for a pair). Please do your research and if you're interested in any of our rabbits, go to www.vrra.org to fill in our adoption application. We follow the House Rabbit Society adoption policies. For everything you need to know about caring for a bunny, visit the House Rabbit Society website at: www.rabbit.org. We strongly encourage all prospective bunny adopters to pick up a copy of “The House Rabbit Handbook: How to Live with an Urban Rabbit,” available from most online sellers (e.g., Amazon) as well at our shelter.
