Mellow

Mellow was taken in by Sarasota Animal Services. We had one foster home open, so we offered to take him into the rescue as rabbits don't do well in a shelter environment. Just look at this big happy boy now! Mellow, as his name implies, is a sweet and good-natured bun. REWs (ruby-eyed whites) are renowned for their friendly dispositions, and Mellow is no exception. The word luvbug comes to mind. Mellow engages easily with people - whenever he hears someone he is ready for attention and pets! In his foster home Mellow appears to be able to get along with any person, and he's also friendly to his fellow rabbits, however, we have discovered that he likes his humans just a little more. He is a very large bunny and a very good hay eater. He also loves all his veggies and welcomes any treat that come his way. This handsome and personable rabbit needs a quiet home with someone who is more of a "home-body" and has time to hang with this "home-bunny". Perhaps you have a spot on the sofa? Our Adoption Fee/Donation for a single rabbit is $100, a pair is $170, and a triple is $200. This helps to offset the cost of having the rabbits altered, microchipped and vaccinated, as well as any medical care that may have been required.
