My Story

Lafayette is a sweet Holland Lop who was rescued from the shelter by Bunny World Foundation. He is a healthy bun with no medical issues. After 30 days with his foster parent, he was ready to find a lifelong mate. Lafayette is the sweetest bun! He is a cuddle bug and comes toward his foster parent when she comes into the room; probably mostly because he's hoping she has bananas, but also because he is friendly and loves humans. He likes to hang on the couch and watch movies and will just relax and cuddle. He has the cutest tuft of hair on the top of his head and he loves to be petted and will be held at times as well. He sometimes crawls up and lays on his foster parent's chest when she's on the couch with him. This was before he met Maylee and now he spends all of his time with her. He met Maylee a few months ago at an adoption event and they hit it off quickly. Over time, they have tightly bonded and love each other. They like to explore together when they free roam. Maylee loves orchard hay over timothy. They both love water, carrots, bananas and some pellets as a treat. Maylee is a beautiful white bunny with cool black markings around her eyes that emphasize and make her eyes stand out. She also has some slight coloring on her ears that complements Lafayette's colors. They are both litter box trained. Maylee is still learning to trust as she is a mom who has already had a litter of little buns, and she is very attentive to Lafayette. These two buns are easy to take care of and just need a loving, attentive home. They are friendly with cats that would be friendly with them. Maylee and Lafayette are used to being around a bun-friendly Labrador as well. Lafayette is not as afraid as Maylee of the dog and he seems to be very comfortable with most sounds and other distractions around the house. Maylee is a little more sensitive and will hide in her house when frightened. Overall, they are a sweet, bonded pair that complement each other and are curious and love to spend time with humans (and also bun-friendly cats and dogs). We hope they'll find a lifelong home with humans who are committed to giving them love, taking care of them and giving them a stable and safe home. Thank you! If you are interested in adopting Maylee and Lafayette, please inquire here on Petfinder or contact us at [email protected] and we'll happily send you the adoption package. Thank you! ~ BWF
