Maxwell is a happy, calm and very friendly bunny. He is also very gentle and extremely sweet. He enjoys head and chin rubs and is comfortable being held while enjoying a full body massage. When he first came to HRN, he was extremely shy. We don't blame him! Wherever he came from, he contracted coccidia which can be fatal for bunnies if not treated quickly. Thankfully, his loving foster home found he wasn't well and got him the help he needed. For our sweet Maxwell, that pain is all in the past and now he is very social, loves the attention, and is 100% healthy!
He gets along well with small gentle dogs that will be kind to him. He is a good hay eater and also enjoys fruit treats such as strawberries and bananas. He also enjoys greens in the morning. He gets very excited when we wake up and open the fridge. He is very smart and has figured it out that his breakfast is on the way! He has good litter box habits, however he is still working on making sure that his cocoa puffs are dropped in his litter box. He would be a great addition to a family who is rabbit savvy and is looking for a loving bunny.
