Lena & Waffles

Lena- Female- Red-Eyed White Mini Rex, small, young (1-2 years old), vaccinated, spayed. Lena was rescued from a backyard bunny mill where over 70 rabbits were kept in close quarters, used for breeding, and lived confined tough lives. She was featured on an ABC 7 News report with Lejla from BWF. Lena is extremely happy to have a space to her own with a bun-husband now. She is cautious, fast, independent, and a treat-stealer. She will run off with a carrot or treat and protect it at all costs before she is sure she can eat it in peace, which is very cute. Lena is the smaller of the two but definitely the more ferocious! Waffles- Male, Red-Eyed White Lionhead, young 3 years old. Vaccinated, neutered. Waffles has been in foster care for 2 years since being rescued from the South LA Shelter. He was abandoned by his owner and we do not know why because he is a very gentle, beautiful, and happy soul. Waffles is an absolute bundle of joy. He has been moved around many times but is resiliently happy. He loves his current foster home and big area. He jumps around in joy after every time he gets greens in a meal or snack. He is cuddly, extremely friendly, enjoys being pet, and very fluffy. He recently got a haircut and it really shows how handsome he is. No one has wanted to adopt Waffles because he has red eyes- but he actually is one of the coolest and best-looking bunnies we have ever known. He is a true Ruby-Eyed Treasure and loves his wife Lena and grooms her all the time.
