Two and a half pound Kennedy had been thoughtlessly dumped and had made his way underneath a neighbourhood shed and tarp before being caught and brought to safety. He’s about 4 months old and surely did nothing to deserve being abandoned and discarded like trash.
Unlike wild cottontail rabbits, domestic rabbits cannot survive on their own outdoors where they have to fend for themselves and try to avoid ending up as a meal for a predator.
Sweet young Kennedy has been vaccinated against RHDV and has been neutered, too.
