My Story

Must adopt with bond mate, Herald Greetings! I'm Jarold, the darker one between me and my brother, Herald, who I'm bonded to for life and must be adopted with. Buckle up, because our bunny tale is quite a journey! Once upon a time we were barn bunnies, living outdoors in a hutch with minimal human contact for the first two years of our lives. But guess what? We've come a long way since those days. Our coats, once scruffy and weathered, now boast a softness that could make any hair model jealous. I've been told I'm the domineering bun. Put me in the vicinity of other male bunnies other than Herald, and things can get a tad territorial. It's just the nature of the bunny hierarchy, you know? But don't let that scare you - I still have a soft spot for gazing out the window, contemplating the world beyond. Let me tell you about my impeccable self-care routine. Litter box? No problem. I'm a pro at maintaining cleanliness, only kicking stuff out when it dares to approach the top. Foster mom says I have medium energy and a large appetite. I'm not picky when it comes to food - fruits, veggies, hay, pellets - yes please! I even sit up and wait for pellets, just like a puppy. I have so much fun when I get to explore the house! I love discovering new hiding spots and engaging in lightning-fast sprints. Speaking of which, I can jump really high, showcasing my bunny acrobatic skills. Sure, I used to be an escape artist, but an extra tall x-pen has put those days to rest. Our foster home is bunny-proofed, so when I'm on my free-roaming escapades, there's no risk of me nibbling on things I shouldn't. I'm a fast learner, unfazed by the shop vac and indifferent to the dogs at the window. Living in a barn made me less afraid than your average bun and adaptable to new experiences. I don't like surprises, but I might be okay with older, considerate children. Overall, I'm an easygoing, sweet boy, who loves food and attention. So, are you ready for a double dose of bunny love and curiosity with Herald and me? https://www.tiktok.com/t/ZPR3EYP2v/ *RRMN does not recommend our rabbits as companion animals for anyone under the age of 10* I would love to have an opportunity to meet you to see if we can be a good match. If you're interested, please fill out an adoption application at: http://www.rabbitrescueofmn.com. Gender: Male Approximate birthdate: 11/30/2020 Approximate weight: 5.47 pounds Adoption fee for Pair: $150.00 (+tax) RRMN bunnies are all vetted, spayed/neutered, and microchipped. All bunnies are fostered in private homes where they are socialized and ready to become indoor companion house pets. RRMN is a non-profit rescue group operated 100% by volunteers, and 100% of donations/adoption fees go to the direct care of our animals. Due to their very special behavioral needs, we do not advocate for our rescue rabbits to serve as Emotional Support Animals (ESAs). We are unable to provide any documentation or certification for an ESA. If you have any questions or are interested in meeting or adopting this bunny, the first step is to complete an adoption application found on our website: http://www.rabbitrescueofmn.com. For the safety of our rescue bunnies, our protocol requires a home-visit before placement. Therefore, we are unable to facilitate adoptions that exceed an hour and a half of travel time from the Twin Cities area.
