My Story
Must adopt with bond mate, Jarold
Hay there! I'm Herald, the lighter one between me and my brother, Jarold, who I'm bonded to for life and must be adopted with. We've come a long way from our barn bunny days, and boy, do we have a tale to tell. We spent the majority of our bunny years in a barn, living in a hutch with minimal human contact. The first two years of life were quite rustic, to say the least. But thankfully we've undergone a bunny glow-up - our once scruffy coats have transformed into luxurious, soft fur.
I'm the sweet one, if I do say so myself. I love gazing out the window. But don't let my cuteness fool you - put me with other male bunnies besides Jarold, and things can get a bit territorial.
Now, let me tell you, I've become a master when it comes to self-care. I've got this litter box thing down pat. I only kick stuff out when it's getting to the top, you know? And when it comes to food, I'm no amateur. Fruits, veggies, hay, pellets - I love it all! Jarold and I like to sit up and wait for our pellets, just like puppies. Adorable, right?
When I'm let loose to explore the house, it's a bunny adventure! Foster mom has bunny-proofed the house so I can explore without getting into anything I shouldn't. I love finding new hiding spots and straightaways to run like the wind. Did I mention I can jump really high? Oh yeah, I'm like a bunny acrobat. I used to be an escape artist, but an extra tall x-pen has curbed that habit.
I'm not scared by too much - living in a barn toughened me up, so I'm not fazed by things like the shop vac or dogs at the window. I'm like a little furry ninja, adapting to new things faster than you can say "carrot." Food, play, new things - bring it on! Sure, I may not like surprises, but overall, I'm an easygoing, sweet boy who craves attention. Older, considerate children? I could give them a try.
So, what do you say? Ready for some bunny love and adventure with me and my brother Jarold?

RRMN bunnies are all vetted, spayed/neutered, and microchipped. All bunnies are fostered in private homes where they are socialized and ready to become indoor companion house pets. RRMN is a non-profit rescue group operated 100% by volunteers, and 100% of donations/adoption fees go to the direct care of our animals. Due to their very special behavioral needs, we do not advocate for our rescue rabbits to serve as Emotional Support Animals (ESAs). We are unable to provide any documentation or certification for an ESA.
If you have any questions or are interested in meeting or adopting this bunny, the first step is to complete an adoption application found on our website: http://www.rabbitrescueofmn.com. For the safety of our rescue bunnies, our protocol requires a home-visit before placement. Therefore, we are unable to facilitate adoptions that exceed an hour and a half of travel time from the Twin Cities area.
