My Story

Henry is a handsome one year-old female rabbit who is neutered. We are not certain on his breed, but we believe he is a mini lop or a mini lop mix. Henry is a bit skittish and is looking for someone who is patient and kind, who can show him lots of love. We believe he would do best in a quiet space with someone who has time to bond with him. Henry does need lots of time free roaming. If in a cage too much, rabbits get depressed and bored. We are looking for a home that has the space to let him run around and play. He uses a litterbox most of the time. He does have some accidents once he's running loose but we know he's nervous with the other bunnies in the same room with him. He should do better once he's in a home with his own space. For rabbit adoptions, we do require a phone interview. You will need to explain and show us where the rabbit will live and explain what their setup / cage / free roaming time will look like. **Be sure to do your research on caring for a rabbit before your interview.** They are more expensive to care for than most people assume. They need lots of space, greens, and veggies. They also need regular nail trimming and lots of coarse hay at all times for munching and grinding to keep their teeth from becoming too long.
