Harper

Meet Harper - a hay loving girl with a dash of sass! Harper came to us from a home that had too many bunnies - and she was lost in the mix. Though she was under socialized as a kit and confused about humans, her curiosity forces her out of her shell quickly when we spend time with her. She has since learned that humans provide pats and she can't get enough of them. While enthralled with her pats, you'll witness her unique style of settling into a comfy spot with something between a loaf and sphinx position that only Harper could explain. Even though she loves pets, don't be surprised if you reach down to pet her and she flees away with a binky! In Harper fashion, she appears to enjoy enticing you to play with a little bit of "tag". Once she's done playing, she either presents for pets or leads you to her food dish to see if she is able to convince you to give her more. Harper is not afraid to explore her space - she stands up tall, climbs on her boxes, peeks behind structures, and inspects each and every toy. She's young - and while she is likely done growing in size, she has a lot of personality growing to do. We learn something new about her everyday! At first, she would grunt at us in her condo - afraid we were up to no good. But once we take her out to spend time with her, she is a ball of curiosity and sweetness. Harper is a frequent flopper and will park herself very close to her foster momwhile she's working, waiting until she's in the spotlight again. If you find yourself taking a break and lay down next to her, she will flop comfortably right next to you, woth her own nose just an inch or two from yours. Harper has learned/understands what kisses from humans are and loves them! She will give you little kisses right back. While Harper is still pretty vocal, her grunting comes from a place of excitement and frustration (specifically when you arent moving fast enough to open her pen!).A true sour patch bun - sourness turning to sweetness when we remind her that her HRN friends will never hurt her. She may do well with a bondmate who can continue to teach her how to bunny!
