My Story

PLEASE CHECK YOUR JUNK/SPAM FOLDER IF YOU INQUIRE ABOUT ADOPTION AND DON'T FIND A REPLY IN YOUR INBOX. INDOOR ONLY HOMES PLEASE Gummi Bear was being given away at a park in Murrieta on April 6. A good Samaritan intervened and brought him to the rescue. He is a small, young adult rabbit and was neutered on April 22, 2024. He is exceptionally friendly, begs for attention and wants to be petted. He is not shy or skittish at all. He wants to be part of the family. He has the classic good-natured temperament of a dutch bunny. Gummi Bear should start out living in an exercise pen (x-pen) otherwise known as a puppy pen. He can have that as his home base or transition to a room or a section of a room or free roaming. A cage/hutch is not recommended unless the door is open and an x-pen can be placed around it. Please be over 21 if inquiring about a rabbit Gummi Bear can be seen by appointment in Lake Elsinore after a questionnaire is completed or a phone consultation conducted. A questionnaire will be emailed to you. On adoption day, plan to spend approximately one hour at the rescue going over paperwork and general rabbit care information. PLEASE consult with the rescue before you purchase rabbit supplies so you can be directed to the least expensive and most appropriate rabbit essentials, especially if you’ve never had the pleasure of owning a rabbit! Your local big chain pet store is probably NOT the best place to buy rabbit supplies! IF YOU ARE SEEKING A RABBIT AS A COMPANION FOR YOUR EXISTING RABBIT, YOUR RABBIT SHOULD BE SPAYED/NEUTERED! Male/female bondings are usually recommended.
