George and Cali

Adoptable couple: George (varigated gray) and Cali (calico)! This pair of delightful young lops came to us separately but were such mirror images in shape, size, and ear flop) that we wondered if they might be interested in becoming a couple. Each were adorable, but put them together and WOW! There was definite interest when we put them in side by side cages and the first few dates were interesting, but non-committal. However, given a bit more time, these two have bonded and are ADORABLE together! At first George requested to be the boss in the family. Cali was NOT interested in being bossed around by anyone, EVER!! There was some renegotiation between the two of them and Cali CLEARLY wears the pants in this couple! Lol! Cali gets what Cali wants and George gratefully accepts what Cali is willing to share! Watching them interact is highly entertaining as well as heartwarming. (They DO cuddle often.) We do check references and we also do home visits which is where we meet the family to get the vibe of the home so we are best able to match the bunnies to the right home. For example, we don’t want a shy bunny to go to a busy home and we wouldn’t want an active rabbit to go to a quiet home. We do matching to make sure we have the right bunny in the right home! At the home visit, after we answer any and all questions that you may have, we will discuss the rabbit(s) that you are interested in as well as tell you about a few others potential matches that you may not even know that we have.
