Genie & Tigger

Genie & Tigger are a male and female bonded couple. They are lion Head Dutch and lop mixed and only 7 months old! they were rescued from a cruelty case where 26 rabbits were shoved in a small hutch without food and water for days while the owner went on vacation. 11 died including multiple babies that were born during the time due to consistent breeding. It’s an absolute miracle that they are alive and have been fully rehabbed! Their fur was so patchy due to their fur falling out. They were extremely underweight and had never had hay in their life! It is assumed these two came from the same litter as they look very similar. Genie is the boy and has a white patch in his chest while tigger is the one ear up one ear down bun. She sometimes is a lop and puts both ears down and sometime has one up. That’s why we named her tigger! She is always up and down. Despite what they’ve been through, they are so friendly! You can pick them up and hold them and they will be your best friend if you have fresh fruit, especially bananas! Come visit the rescue to see if they are the right fit for you!
