Gandalf the Grey

Gandalf the Grey came from a shelter in Quebec after he was placed on a euthanasia list due to overcrowding. He has numerous health concerns, including a severe tilt and ear mites. Since arriving into foster care, he has been receiving ongoing veterinary care. Gandalf the Grey, or Big Grey as his foster mom has nicknamed him, has been through a lot. Despite the health challenges he’s facing, we are seeing some of his personality start to peak out as he gets stronger and stronger. He’s a big Flemish boy with an appetite to match and will act as though he hasn’t eaten in DAYS every time pellets or greens arrive. The drama is real with this big suck – he hates getting his eye drops put in and will dramatically roll over whenever you come near him with the bottle, only to pop back up again if he hears a bowl of pellets rattle or a snack bag crinkle. He will lay his head on your hand during pats time and is just the sweetest, gentle giant. Gandalf is neutered, vaccinated, and looking for a special forever family that understands his unique needs.
