Meet Frankie Blue Eyes!
Frankie was intended to be a meat rabbit, but the owner lost interest in their "hobby" and stopped feeding her and her 5 babies. She spent her life outside in a chicken wire hutch that was so dirty, the water was nearly black. The owner then began releasing them. She was incredibly underweight and her feet were in bad shape from the chicken wire.
Frankie is the best mama to her babies, and is learning how to be an indoor rabbit. Her favorite time of the day is cleaning time, because she has more room to romp around. When the litter boxes and tunnel come out of the pen, she treats the pen as her very own dance floor! She has best binkies and zoomies.
An experienced bun owner might be best for Frankie as she has some quirks. At times, she is territorial with her food, toys, and blankets. We can't say we blame her! She likes to be pet and will rest her little chin on you for a quick snooze. She is doing well using her litter box. There are cats in the foster home who she is adjusting to.
