Louise was set outside a house in Lancaster City with a sign that said "Free" on her cage. Someone from the Pennsylvania SPCA saw that, called the police, and the police had the homeowners surrender her to the SPCA. We got her from there.
Louise had serious abscesses on her head that involved the bone. She's had surgery to remove a lot of the infection, which has left her with an open hole in her nasal cavity that must be rinsed with a saline solution daily. Due to her medical needs, Louise isn't available for adoption, but you can sponsor some of her care using the "Donate to this Rescue" link at the bottom of the page. Thank you!
