Floyd is a three-year-old, six-pound, male black rabbit looking for a loving guardian.
This boy is so sweet, easy to hold and love on. He lets you pick him like a baby in your arms for cuddles, and is even well-behaved with children.
He has lived with kids in his foster home who have taught him tricks; he works for treats just like a well-trained dog. And, he uses a litter box just like a cat.
He loves attention from his family and relaxing on the couch with you. He’s a pure house rabbit who has never been caged. He stays in an exercise pen with his litter box, hay, heavy ceramic water bowl, and chewable toys while not being supervised. But, he can run around the house with you while you’re watching!
Floyd enjoys the company of other rabbits, but would do best bonded to a female.
Floyd eats a diet of mostly timothy hay, orchard hay and botanical hay. He also eats a diet of his favorite salad greens (about three cups a day) including red leaf, butter lettuce, Boston lettuce, green leaf, dandelion greens, romaine, cilantro, and parsley. Because he’s an adult, he only eats pellets as an occasional training treat!

His adoption fee of $75 benefits the Friends of Petraits Rescue. An addition $75 package includes everything you need to care for him: carrier, litter box, hay, litter, treats, water bowl and toys. Floyd is healthy, neutered, and microchipped.
He is currenly being fostered in Chicago’s Andersonville neighborhood.
