My Story

Meet Five Star! She's a sweet, friendly rabbit who would love to make friends with you. Come meet Five Star and you'll give her 5 stars too! Five Star was in a foster home recently, and here's what her foster had to say about their time with her: "Five Star is quite a unique rabbit with blue eyes, a white diamond on her forehead, and a whisp of liohead hair gracing her face. She's a very social and friendly rabbit who loves petting, cuddles, and kisses. She's super smart. She learned quickly to go to a certain spot to get pets and rubdowns. When we come home, she peeks behind the curtain and hangs close to her pen door waiting to be let out of her enclosure. She waits nearby when she knows her greens are being prepared. She likes to play hide and seek and then chase. She's a fun and interactive companion with tons of personality. Five Star would be an ideal free-range rabbit as she's very clean and goes in her litter box. Young and fearless, a curious explorer, she likes to climb and can be an escape artist! So to prevent her from climbing the pen, blankets are lined on the inside of pen walls. At night or when leaving home, she goes into her pen easily as she's food-motivated and will follow the food put into her pen. She's a very good eater and healthy pooper! Like most rabbits, she doesn't like being picked up, but she definitely likes cuddling. She likes being combed which is good for grooming her undercoat. Five Star is spayed, microchipped, and vaccinated against RHDV2 (vaccine needs to be administered annually). House Rabbit Society recommends all rabbits see a rabbit-savvy veterinarian once a year. Submit an adoption application for Five Star at center.houserabbit.org. House Rabbit Society is located in Richmond, California, just north of San Francisco. Questions?
