My Story

Rescue Update on FIONA! We pulled her from 'Orange Alerted' (euthanize if not immediately rescued) at South L.A. Shelter and hospitalized her... isn't she adorable! 3.8Lb, 2-year-old Fiona had been left at South L.A. shelter as a "stray" suffering terrible maladies of severe neglect... and sadly, she was accompanied by her deceased fetus. SHELTER NOTES: Came in with a deceased rabbit fetus. Monstrously dirty, inhumane cage; 3 empty food bowls. Cage floor layered about an inch thick with feces and urine. She is underweight eating ravenously. Her coat is dirty, fecal scalding at the inguinal area and under her chin. The suffering she endured inexcusable! But we've tended to this sweet girl's issues from top to bottom and she is doing well, but she needs a kind-hearted adopter mom or dad to offer a comfy spot in their home for her and love her while she begins her new life. Fiona's renewed health, and with spay procedure completed means that she is adoptable and able to meet potential husbuns. This darling bunny was a victim of mistreatment, starvation, and terrible anguish confined in the filthy, cruel cage. We want to make dear Fiona so happy that she forgets "living" that way. We hope someone wonderful wants to be the forever human in that next chapter of her precious life. If you are interested in adopting Fiona, please inquire here on Petfinder or contact us at [email protected] and we'll happily send you our adoption package. Thank you! - BWF
