Chanel was trapped with her babies at Kenner City Park. There were 5 babies but unfortunately one passed due to coccidia. Even worse, Chanel gave birth to more babies shortly after joining us. It just shows how quickly rabbits can reproduce. None of the second litter of babies survived.
Chanel has been such a wonderful mother even after all she has been through. We were so worried about her in the beginning because she was so thin. Thankfully she packed on the weight with the increased food for her and the babies. Chanel would like to be adopted with her best friend Nutmeg.
