My Story

Carrot is a beautiful lop-eared rabbit who has been looking for her forever home for a long time. She originally came to WHRS from an overcrowded shelter. She was adopted, but returned to us because she was very afraid of the adopter's dogs. Carrot is a friendly and calm girl. Her favorite time of day is dinner time! She also likes to eat her hay throughout the day. Carrot would like a home of her own as she does not like other rabbits or dogs. Carrot is spayed, litter box trained and has been vaccinated against RHDV. If you're interested in adopting Carrot, go to our website at wisonsinhrs.org to learn how to care for her and fill out an adoption application. If you adopt Carrot you will receive a free copy of the House Rabbit Handbook: How to Live with an Urban Rabbit and a free one year membership to WHRS.
