Bubbles and Melody

Bubbles and Melody are a bonded pair. Bubbles (white), just like his name, is a bubbly 4.5-lb neutered male bun who will binky his way to you (especially during veggie hours). He’s the Time Keeper in the home - With his laser-sharp stares, you know it’s meal time and delay is unacceptable! Bubbles is very trusting, affectionate, and social with his caregivers, and loves getting hand/ear massages daily. Bubbles was abandoned at a local park with another 26 bunnies, and was listed to be euthanized on 1/27/2024. He had multiple bite wounds when rescued, and sustained a permanent slit at his nose which does not affect his daily activities. Tip: just be mindful that a pointy hay bit may occasionally get stuck in the slit and human intervention is needed to gently pull and unstuck the hay bit. On the other hand, Melody (gray) is an elegant, gentle, and shy 4-lb spayed female bun. She loves fresh Apple sticks and is extra careful when trying new treats/fruits. She takes her time to build trust with people and will melt and do bunny-purring with a gentle massage around her scalp/ears. Although Melody is generally on a quieter side, she will thump to tell you what she does not like (ex. being handled). Before being rescued, Melody got bullied a lot by other bunnies and can be a bit skittish. Melody has a healed scar on her right scent gland that does not seem to affect her activities. Despite her traumatic past, she’s capable of trusting Bubbles and people who shower her with love and affections. Both Bubbles and Melody have up-to-date vaccination for the year of 2024.
