My Story

Boots was dumped in someone's backyard on Thanksgiving Day. Fortunately, the owner of the property was a kind person who took him in and cared for him. Now, Boots' caretaker/foster parent is looking for a forever home for him where he can have more roaming about time and more attention as he shares a home with a number of other pets in the house. Boots has very soft, shiny black fur with white paws and white markings on his face. His foster mom describes him as being one big cuddle bug! He loves to be petted and loves having his fur brushed. He will sit on your lap for quite and hang out with you. He likes attention from the humans in the house. Boots gets along well with the dogs and cats in his foster home, they like to sniff each other through the pen and exchange pleasantries. Boots is also comfortable around calm, supervised children and enjoys being gently petted by them. Boots is fixed and vaccinated and is very tidy with his litter box. When his foster mom comes home from work he will stand on his hind legs in his pen to greet her and ask for treats. This sweet bun is seeking a loving home where he can have some daily run time - and of course lots of petting and attention. We adopt to indoor homes only! If you are interested in adopting a bunny from Orlando Rabbit Care and Adoptions, or would like more information on rabbit care, please visit our website at: http://www.orlandorabbit.org. The first step in our adoption process is to complete an adoption application, which can be found here: https://petstablished.com/adoption_form/55856/generic . Then one of our volunteers will reach out to you via email to schedule a time to speak with you. If you don't see the email in a day or two, please check your spam folder! Our Adoption Fee/Donation for a single rabbit is $100, a pair is $170, and a triple is $200. This helps to offset the cost of having the rabbits altered, microchipped and vaccinated, as well as any medical care that may have been required.
