Beau

We know, we love Beau’s ears too! This dapper dude’s ears just can’t quite decide where they feel most at home…up, down, or somewhere in between? We are working with Beau on his moods, as they can sometimes be as unpredictable as his adorable ears. While he can be a sweetheart, enjoying head pets and attention on his terms, he can also nip pretty seriously when startled or frightened. Beau was recently neutered, a fact we are confident will help mellow him out over the next several weeks and beyond. However, due to his teeth-first approach to things that startle or scare him, we are not comfortable placing Beau in a home with children under the age of 12. Beau is estimated to be about two years of age (as of July 2024). We know Beau is working on being his best self here at Luna’s House and are certain the right guardian(s) will come along for him…of course, he’s welcome to stay with us until they arrive! Ideally we would like for Beau’s adopter(s) to have previous experience with buns who can be saucy—we feel that would best set everyone, especially Beau, up for success. Our adoption fee for a single rabbit is $75. This is a donation meant to help us cover part of the cost of caring for the animal you are adopting while (s)he is with us, including veterinary exam, spay or neuter surgery, deworming, RHDV2 vaccination, microchip, food, bedding, etc. Beau has been vaccinated against RHDV2.
