This lil handsome Mini Rex found his way to The Rabbitat alongside of Penny, who had originally been with us in 2022. They were happy house bunnies who were surrendered through no fault of their own. They are currently settling in with a Foster who is working with them on their final stages of bonding. Both are neutered/spayed and ready to be adopted. While they do enjoy gentle pets and head rubs, bunnies generally do not like to be picked up or held as they are prey animals and it can be very scary for them. They also need lots of space to move around, run, binky and play - so no small hutches nor cages. They are social animals who want to be with you and should be accepted as part of the family. They also thrive best in bonded pairs, especially during the hours you are otherwise occupied. They need vet visits just like a dog or cat and will require a yearly vaccination against RHDV2. This is a highly contagious and deadly virus. All of our rabbits have received their first annual vaccines. Please do your research before adding any pet to your family.
