Hey there, my name is Dori (but my real name is Alidoor). I was actually found as a stray on the 4th of July in an apartment complex in Salinas. The fireworks that day really scared me and I was super frightened. I ended up at Hitchcock Animal Shelter, but unfortunately, I didn't get along too well with the humans there. I got in trouble a few times for charging at them and having tantrums (oops!). They even threatened to take me to the "bad room" for a "long nap" (yikes!). Luckily, some really kind-hearted people came to my rescue and took me to a foster home where I feel much more comfortable now. Since settling in, I've been on my best behavior and doing my best to stay calm and quiet so I can stay here for as long as possible.
