Teddy aka Don Tedoro

Meet Teddy and his name fits him. He is a big teddy bear. Teddy is a 22 yr old 16.1h warmblood (Hanoverian) gelding. Teddy is a retired Dressage horse and Hunter/Jumper. At times he does have intermittent lameness on the front feet and does have some mild bone spurs on his hocks. (We do have extensive vet records from Ohio State). He is good for vet and farrier. Teddy came to us after his previous owner had a stroke. Teddy is very easy to handle and is very respectful just a giant love bug. He had not been ridden for several years and when we saddled him with a western saddle he did bulk but then was fine. Teddy rode like a dream probably the first time western with a hackamore. Teddy would be best suited for an occasional ride or even a companion for another horse. He does love the ladies and has his harem here at the rescue Teddy is current with vaccinations current on, farrier, and dental care. He has also been microchipped.
