Meet Tara! This gorgeous registered Quarter Horse mare has a gentle yet courageous heart as she was one of the first members of her herd to approach staff and be inquisitive with her surroundings.Due to her past situation, she had not had much training except when she was younger. Now in our training program, we are helping her grow familiar again with the basics of haltering, leading, backing, disengaging her hind quarters, and being more connected with people. Tara has never been rode. She has wonderful ground manners and gets along well with other horses.
