Shooey

PASTURE PET ONLY Shooey is a 2008 Tennessee Walking Horse gelding who stands at 15 hands tall and weighs 970lbs. Shooey is a docile gelding who gets along well with the mares and geldings he's turned out with. Shooey will walk right up to you in the pasture, and he stands quietly tied for grooming. He is safe for children and beginners to lead around and groom but he is unsound for riding. Prior to arriving at the rescue, we were told that Shooey had an injury and taring to ligaments in his back right leg causing him to be unsound to ride. This injury left him with a permanent weakness and gait abnormality that make him too weak to carry any weight. He is on full turnout with a large herd, and he gets around fine in the pasture. He is comfortable on no maintenance and won't likely require any special care, related to his previous injury, in the future. Shooey will make a wonderful companion to any horse and a great addition to any family as a loving pet.
